PEDROSA, BRADL & TEROL WIN AT ESTORIL

WHILE Stefan Bradl and Nicolas Terol were the clear favourites for victory in the Moto2 and 125GP classes at Portugal's Estoril circuit on Sunday, both starting from pole position and winning their races, Dani Pedrosa was the unfancied winner of the MotoGP race.

Bradl led all but one lap of a hectic Moto2 race while Terol simply cleared off from the start of the 125 race and never even looked like being headed.

In a similar manner, Jorge Lorenzo put his Yamaha into the lead of the MotoGP race from pole position but Dani Pedrosa dogged his ever move. Just when it looked as if Lorenzo was about to grab an historic fourth successive win at the Portuguese circuit, to add to his 2008, 2009 and 2010 wins there, Pedrosa pounced with three laps to go, and pulled away to a brilliant win.

It was Honda's first victory at Estoril in the 800cc era of MotoGP. The previous Honda win there came from Toni Elias on a 990cc Honda V5 in 2006.
